The Old Manor House Cellar - Haunting :

The vigil took place on 17th September - The conditions were cold with clear skies and nearly a full moon. The location was an old manor house - The manor house has long gone but the cellar remains in tack below the gardens. Click on small images to see larger photo

It was just a fun get together with friends but i could not resist the temptation of visiting the cellar. It was nearly a year ago I took a team from the Police on a charity vigil. We were all amazed with our findings and the happens made the national newspapers. We have left the cellars alone for some time now but when we entered there was a warm feeling of being made welcome.

Even though it was a fun night and the people there were not investigators the three groups quickly demonstrated that dowsing works for most people. Lindsay was one of the first to find out that we had the spirit of a young lady called Elizabeth she was pleased we were there but seemed a bit upset that she was unable to have children in her life time.

As you will see later we did pick up some orbs on video and my sister Lyn picked up an image of a scull that mysteriously flashed up in front of her. Was there a skull from the past with us?. We did not find any evidence but next time our investigation will hopefully tell us more.

I did notice two spirits in the cellar and they were moving around freely. In this photo you will see above my brother Jason (left) a mist which just appeared. It was soon gone and did not appear on any other images. Before you ask the lens was clean.

Though we were not alone at no time did any one feel scared and I think most people agreed they would like to visit again.

This is one of the last photos I took as I left and a strange mist seemed to form the shape of a women. Not sure if it was a trick of the light or Elizabeth saying her goodbye's. Hopefully next time we will learn more.

To round off the evening a nice fire we all sat outside sharing stories and looking to the stars to those questions we all wanted answered. Many thanks to Jessica for making it a warm and lovely evening.
