Who isit? Where isit? and What isit? in the Mysterious world of Ghomats and its ghosts and spirits. Experience your own ghost event and vigil with the ghomats

Its not difficult to arrange your own ghost evening / vigil

you just need a few friends a location and some basic equipment. You can even run from your own home and make it a dinner ghost vigil party.

What to do –

Invite up to 10 friends who are open minded and of course interested in ghost hunting.
Give each person a role you can have several in one role –
The Ghost Communicator. (GC)
Their role is to ask questions and challenge the ghosts / spirits to make an appearance in some shape or form.
The Visionary (camera person) The person to use the still digital camera and if possible a video cameras (bonus if you have night vision)
The Trapper – The person who will use equipment set up traps. More details later.
The Recorder - Someone to make notes recording events on paper or on a recorder.
The Ghost Agent  (GA)- Someone to channel to sit and concentrate possible using dowsing rods.
.

Location – You do not have to use a haunted location but of course it would be best. Ask your local pub or hotel if you can use a room or a cellar. In the summer you can also use an outside location but find one which is not well light. Make sure you have permission in any location you use.
Its also worth trying at your own house as I have found you can pick up spirits / ghosts almost anywhere.

Tell everybody to come along with an open mind and to expect the unexpected. They have to be open, be honest and of course be there on your ghost party. You can of course make it fun by arranging a dinner and suggesting the guests dress up. Witches, warlocks, ghosts, scary green monsters any thing to set the scene.

To start you can set a few traps. The easiest one is to take a coin and place on a piece of paper and draw around it with a pencil. Place the paper and coin in various locations. You can then check later to see if the coin has moved out of the ring.

Make sure the lighting is low and if possible light with candles. Incense can be used but we prefer not to as it can cause a false atmosphere. We have done vigils where aromas have appeared which relate to a past event like a fire or a persons perfume.

The roles of the guests the GS need to ask questions to encourage some sort of sign. It may come in the form of a noise, an orb or even some sort of physical / emotional experience. I have know people to be grabbed or to feel some sort of sensation in a part of the body. Often people in the group can pick up images or words. Make sure if this happens your recorder take notes. If you have someone with artistic ability it may be worth drawing what you see. Its also worth taking times when anything happen. The GS or GA can use dowsing rods or pendulums to ask questions or locate ghosts. We often use dowsing rods follow this link for instructions. Basically the rods channel the energies. Ask yes no  questions and ask where is the best place to take a photograph. If the rods point to a location your visionary can take a photo or video. Its good if you have a video recorder is to set up a camera and let it run throughout your vigil as you never know what you may capture.
A digital audio device is good as you can use this to speak into when something happens and don't forget to record the time. You can also use the audio recorder to capture white noise. Put recorder on table and press record. Sit in a circle around the table and repeat to yourself please leave us a message. Make sure you are relaxed and of course you do not speak out loud. Take the recorder and listen to it at a later date. If really clever copy to your PC to analysis
Video camera - If you have a video camera leave running. Use a tripod if you can and have the widest angle as possible. If you have night vision make sure its turned on. Do not review until after the vigil it is tempting I know when something happens to review the footage but you may well miss out on something else.

Stills camera - Take photos at the start and at the end. Do not get too carried away as the flash will blind everyone and all will see orbs *smile*

Please feedback on your party and show me your team
